Florida Career College

Anyone every attend Dade medical college or Florida Career college In Miami, FL?

I Have an interview with the school today I am planing to go for the medical assistant program. If you did attend this school How was it did you like it? where you able to get a job after graduation? Thanks...

I did not attend Florida Career but I know the original owner and he put together a great school with good honest people running it. Good Luck.

Can I still get my certification?

I went to Florida Career College for about a year and half for the Medical and Billing program, and let's just say that I didn't do so well with my classes due to some bad events that happened in my life while I was attending there. To make a long story short..I got withdrawn from the school due to a low GPA. But before I was withdrawn, I took my certification and I passed and now I'm nationally certified for it. Is there any way that I can get my license even though I was withdrawn? I did pay for it by the way..

This is a really great question. Is this position state certified or certified by an insurance organization or what? Find out and contact that organization and get the info from the people that set up the system. I think that its a little odd that you cannot get a job without a "license" since you are not actually treating patients.

How can a non accredited school offer and Associates and bachelor degree? Is it legit?

How can a non accredited school offer an associates and bachelor degree? Is it it legit? The reason i am asking is because, my brother is attending Florida CAreer College... I believe it's non accredited, yet they offer an associates and bachelors degree. How legit is this? And if it is legit, why do people say a non accredited school is a waste of time and money?

I found that it is accredited Florida Career College Accreditation Accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award diplomas and Associate of Science degrees. The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education. If that particular accreditation allows for transfer of credits to a university is another thing.
