Liberty University’s 100% online Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Curriculum and Instruction – Urban Education is designed to help teachers meet the diverse needs of students found in urban communities. Students in this program will learn how to successfully teach diverse groups of students with dynamic instructional practices for K-12 classrooms that meet the unique needs of these classrooms. This program focuses on developing teachers’ ability to plan across the entire scope of diversity in K-12 classrooms and develop strategies for working with students and families who have a wide variety of social and economic experiences. Graduates of the M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction – Urban Education will be equipped with the speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills needed for effective classroom management.
