The Doctor of Health Administration (DHA) degree program at Northcentral University provides leadership and management skills for those seeking mid to senior executive-level positions in a variety of healthcare settings. This applied program prepares you to learn the highly specialized skills needed to drive change and solve problems within healthcare organizations. Students will learn how to create administrative strategies, make evidence-based decisions, understand the impact and importance of health policy, and navigate the legal and ethical issues that are unique to healthcare. Students will learn in an interprofessional environment designed to facilitate teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration. While the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) doesn’t offer accreditation for doctoral programs, this program was developed to align with their high standards. Additionally, it utilizes the National Center for Health Care Leadership (NCHL) competency model.
